OD042 | Recognizing Drug & Alcohol Abuse
Addiction is a tough path that most people do not choose purposely. But it's a path that takes over, and starts to control everything an addict does. There are behaviors that are consistent throughout different addictions. Drug and alcohol addictions have their own special signs and symptoms, and so knowing the pattern of addiction, and those signs, will help you to discern when someone is a drug or alcohol addict.
This class teaches the signs of drug & alcohol abuse, what to do when you suspect someone is struggling with addiction, general workplace rules & guidelines about testing, how others are affected by an addict's behavior, and what drug & alcohol abuse does to someone physically, mentally and emotionally.
