OD011 | Tactical Medic Skills Training (Non-Cert.) w Debriefing
This course is an excellent skills-demonstration course, designed to provide you with basic tactical medical skills and to refresh your memory in between re-certification dates. Skills include response to massive hemorrhage, airway issues, respiratory/breathing issues, circulation/bleeding, and hypothermia prevention. Because this is an online training class, and therefore no hands-on practice or skills assessment/test is included, this does not qualify for certification or re-certification purposes.
Unlike other tactical medic classes, this course also includes a mental health session, discussing how response to an emergency medical situation can affect you, and how to best debrief, heal, recover and move on after managing this type of event.
